Daily Narratives is a series inspired by the idea of dialogue. Everyday scenes captured with a smartphone are reimagined through AI and transformed into generative moving images using TouchDesigner, allowing familiar moments to continuously shift and evolve.
The project began through reflections on how artists throughout history have engaged with their surroundings, leading to a particular resonance with the work of Vilhelm Hammershøi, who repeatedly painted the interiors of his own home. For me as well, home is not merely a physical space but a place where daily conversations, memories, and creative processes quietly accumulate.
By regenerating personal photographs through AI, the resulting images gradually move beyond autobiography and become fragments of someone else’s everyday life. The work explores how ordinary experiences are constantly rewritten through technology, memory, and chance, revealing the generative nature of daily existence itself. Like a random seed producing endless variations, each day unfolds through subtle and unpredictable transformations that lie beyond individual control.
