Bright Girls is an NFT collection that combines AI-generated imagery with generative animation, inspired by the excitement of collecting trading cards in childhood. The random minting process echoes the thrill of opening a Carddass pack, where the possibility of discovering a rare card transformed an ordinary moment into something magical.
The portraits reinterpret iconic paintings by artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Johannes Vermeer, and Gustav Klimt through AI and algorithmic processes. Rather than reproducing the originals, the works pay tribute to art history while reimagining it through contemporary digital technologies.
For me, creating moving images shares the same rhythm as painting—a gradual process of building, layering, and discovering. Bright Girls reflects the coexistence of tradition and technology, while inviting viewers to experience the sense of wonder and “kirakira” that first inspired my own creative journey.
